After a warm welcome and intro video, you’ll craft enrichment items for the big cats, then join animal caretakers to distribute them and witness the animals engage with your creations. Along the way, you’ll learn about their stories and the importance of providing enrichment to our rescued big cats. In addition to your sanctuary tour, we also have an on-site Restaurant, kiddies playground area, and pool.
Please note that should you wish to use the pool, this at our discretion and, at your own risk as there are no lifeguards on duty. No children are allowed in the pool area without adult supervision.

I recently visited LIONSROCK for an enrichment tour, and it was a remarkable experience. The tour was incredibly informative, shedding light on the sanctuary's mission and the importance of the work they do to provide rescued animals with a dignified life. It was heartwarming to see how well the lions and other animals are cared for, with a clear emphasis on their happiness and welfare. One of the highlights was participating in the hands-on activity of distributing enrichment parcels to the lions. Watching their excitement as they interacted with the parcels was both thrilling and fulfilling. It felt good to be part of an initiative that enhances their daily lives in such a meaningful way.
