Directly after your warm welcome at reception and pre-tour video, you will take part in creating enrichment items for our Big Cats. Learn about the importance of enrichment and join our caretakers on the back of an open vehicle to distribute the enrichment you have made and, watch as they interact with your creations. It’s like sunshine for your soul as you take some time to play, while learning more about our Big Cats, their stories, and our work here at the Sanctuary. An amazing opportunity to live loudly and be fully alive! Days like these are how we make beautiful memories!

In addition to your sanctuary tour, we also have an on-site Restaurant, kiddies playground area, and pool.
Please note that should you wish to use the pool, this at our discretion and, at your own risk as there are no lifeguards on duty. No children are allowed in the pool area without adult supervision.

I recently visited LIONSROCK for an enrichment tour, and it was a remarkable experience. The tour was incredibly informative, shedding light on the sanctuary's mission and the importance of the work they do to provide rescued animals with a dignified life. It was heartwarming to see how well the lions and other animals are cared for, with a clear emphasis on their happiness and welfare. One of the highlights was participating in the hands-on activity of distributing enrichment parcels to the lions. Watching their excitement as they interacted with the parcels was both thrilling and fulfilling. It felt good to be part of an initiative that enhances their daily lives in such a meaningful way.
